Associated Marble Industry Displays Commitment to Local Community with Donation of Materials

Marble Distributor Gives Back By Providing Building Materials to Habitat for Humanity, Nassau County

Nassau County, NY, October 3rd, 2017 / Associated Marble Industry –– Associated Marble Industry teamed up with Habitat for Humanity, Nassau County, donating over eight pallets of material to assist in building homes within the community.

As a family-run business, AMI found it imperative to support HFHNC’s mission to provide affordable housing for hard-working, low-income families. The recent hire of a new marketing coordinator seeking local community service opportunities proved beneficial. Early on the morning of October 3rd, AMI prepared the pallets and greeted the HFH team.

“With the devastation this country has seen in just the past few months, we felt it was our responsibility to help out in any way we could,” owner Nicolina Seganti commented. “We have always believed in helping out our local community and felt Habitat for Humanity was the perfect fit,” said owner Mario Romanelli, as he helped his team load materials onto the truck.
